dartmouth wedding on the beach

Oh my goodness, Rachel and Lisa’s incredible Caribbean themed wedding looks like it actually did take place in the Caribbean, not Dartmouth in September!

Beautifully captured by Holly Collings, this wedding will have you pining for hazy summer days…

Rachel & Lisa’s wedding took place on Blackpool Sands, Dartmouth in September 2016. It was so warm and sunny, perfect for their Caribbean theme with Bird of Paradise flowers, homemade decorations, steel pan music, hawaiian shirts, limbo and more.

.

.

The decorations were self made, and the arch was made by a friend, Sarah Brooks. The order of service was made by Rachel’s brother Ian, who also conducted the ceremony.

.

They had Steel Strum play for the ceremony and drinks reception.

.

.

Favours were personalised sticks of rock from The Rock Company and they made the place names themselves.  This seaside themed cake was made by Rachel’s mum, and sister in law, Lucy.

Bird of Paradise bouquets and centre pieces are by Susans Flowers, Paignton.

.

.

Sparkly blue bridesmaid dresses were from Debenhams, and Rachel’s shoes are from Seasalt in Dartmouth.

The evenings music was provided by DJ Northey.
